Project «CBCycle: Cross-border cycle routes for promotion and sustainable use of cultural heritage»

The project is carried out in the framework of the Poland-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020, which is co-financed by the European Union and the Russian Federation. The main aim of the Program is to support cross-border cooperation in the social, environmental, economic and institutional sphere.

CBCycle was initiated by the Ministry for Culture and Tourism of the Kaliningrad region, which now acts as the project's Lead Partner. The pool of project beneficiaries includes administrations of «Svetlogorsk urban district», «Pionersky urban district» and «Zelenogradsk urban district». Marshal's Office of the Warminsko-Mazurskie Voivodship, European Foundation for Monuments Protection and the State public institution of the Kaliningrad region «Administration of road facilities of the Kaliningrad region».

Project will contribute to the development of infrastructure, preservation and sustainable use of natural, cultural and historical heritage of the cross-border region, promotion of environmentally friendly tourism.
